Campus Multimedia’s Month of Impact: Thirty Days of Showing Up for Schools
Every day, our team helps brands show up for schools in a way that creates real, scalable impact.
This September, we launched our first annual Month of Impact so that not only our brand partners, but every person on our staff could have an opportunity to give back to the schools in their own communities. Some of us went back to the hallways we once walked as students. Some of us showed up at our kids' schools. Others found a school down the street that could use a little extra love.
For thirty days, we painted, built, packed boxes, handed out gift cards, crashed bingo nights, and celebrated educators from coast to coast. We started with a single school in Roswell. By the end of the month, we had reached 70.
Here's the story of how it all came together.

Stop 1: A Teacher's Lounge Makeover at Centennial High
Centennial High School in Roswell, Georgia, has been part of our story for years through brand activations and sponsorship programs. So when we called to ask if we could give their teachers a lounge makeover, it was an easy yes.
The space we had to work with was the ISS room off the cafeteria: plain white walls, a whiteboard, a folding table, and one lonely office chair. Our team rolled up their sleeves. We painted the walls a deep navy, built new furniture, and filled the room with the essentials a tired educator needs most: a long wooden dining table, a cozy reading corner with lounge chairs, a coffee station, and a snack cart and refrigerator stocked and ready.
BEFORE
AFTER
“We haven’t had a working teachers’ lounge in 5 years! This will be a great place to unwind and regroup!”
Today, more than 150 staff members at Centennial have a place to catch their breath, refill their coffee, and actually sit down with each other during the day. It finally feels like a room made for the people who use it.
On reveal day, the staff walked in with no idea what was waiting for them. The looks of surprise and the thank-yous that followed are something our team will carry with us for a long time.
Stop 2: Front Office Hero Boxes
Every school has one. The secretary who greets you by name at the front desk, calms the chaos on a hectic morning, and somehow knows the answer to every question. Front office staff keep the whole building running, and they deserve to hear thank you a lot more often.
So our team packed and sealed 28 Front Office Hero Boxes. Each one held everyday essentials, Campus Multimedia goodies, a thank-you card, and a special gift from one of our brand partners. Thirteen brands helped make it happen: Crisis Text Line, DoorDash, Dunkin', Fusian, GoHealth, GOHS, GSFC, Jersey Mike's, Kleenex, KMHF, Museum of Ice Cream, Planet Fitness, and Taco Mac.
Our clients helped choose where the boxes went, and many picked schools close to their hearts. Client partner Amanda chose her daughter's high school: "Love this and have loved watching along with your socials. I picked my daughter's high school. They are all truly amazing humans!"
Stop 3: Our Team Goes Home
This is where Month of Impact got personal. Every member of our team chose a school to support. For many of us, that meant our neighborhood school, our kids' school, or the school that shaped us growing up. Then we showed up in person.
Each giveback looked a little different. Some of us recognized Students of the Week. Others delivered supplies straight off teacher wishlists, treated staff to coffee and Nothing Bundt Cakes, cheered on a family bingo night, or helped launch a Reader of the Month program. At Jones Middle, the staff got a brand new scoreboard and a Dunkin' run.
Here's what it meant to the people who showed up:
Mr. Augustus Melton, who was also my band teacher when I rocked the saxophone in my middle school years. He was very influential in my awkward years and was someone I was excited to see how we could support. He was extremely grateful and immediately knew where he wanted the money to go. The school partners with the Gary Sinise Foundation and they will be hosting an concert/fundraiser where students and parents will attend. CM will be sponsoring a portion of the event for the school! Grateful this opportunity to giveback to somewhere that gave so much to me.
I went to Winfield Elementary, where my wife has taught for 25+ years, my sister-in-law for nearly 20, and generations of my family have been students.
Fifth grade teacher Mrs. Jessie Buckner runs the “high tunnel,” a greenhouse classroom where more than 100 students, from preschool through fifth grade and of all abilities, grow produce together. They learn teamwork, responsibility, and nutrition, and their harvest stocks the school salad bar.
When the county cut the program’s funding this year, Campus Multimedia’s $250 check helped cover repairs and new plants. This program has always touched my heart because of what it does for our special needs students.
I got to surprise the staff at a Title I elementary school that doesn’t have a PTA and doesn’t get a lot of extra support. Their principal is rallying everyone around an “All In” theme this year, so I set up a local coffee + Nothing Bundt Cakes bar (I got half of it donated ), created “All In” cards for staff to recognize each other, and gave the principal Target gift cards to surprise people throughout the year.
One of my favorite parts was how excited the local businesses were to help too. Everyone I reached out to was genuinely excited for the chance to give back to a school in their community.
Stop 4: Social Media Giveaways
We brought the celebration online too. Nearly every weekday in September, we surprised an educator who entered through our social channels with a prize picked with teachers in mind: Costco Shop Cards, a class set of headphones, a Big Class Calendar, an Owala water bottle, an Amazon Kindle, a Hatch alarm clock, a brand new teacher chair, gift cards from Jersey Mike's, Dunkin', DoorDash, and Uber, and a grand finale $500 Amazon gift card.
20 winners took home roughly $1,700 in prizes. Those winners added 17 more grateful educators and countless impacted students to our total.
From the Schools:
The best part of the month was hearing from the schools themselves. These are a few of the notes that stopped us in our tracks.
"We teachers don't see a lot of unsolicited support, so when we get it we don't take it lightly… You and your company have made a difference at WGHS!"
-Webster Groves High
"Oh wow! This is awesome! Thank you so much for pouring into our school. We don't get a chance to pour into our faculty, students, and parents as often as we would like to."
Woodward Elementary School
"I received a package from your company and I was totally surprised… after looking into it, I realized what a great program it is."
Alpine Elementary, on their Hero Box
"I really can't thank you enough for helping my students and I out with the supplies on the wishlist. I've never had anyone help out like this before… I appreciate you more than I can say."
A teacher, on wishlist supplies
"Wow, now you are really spoiling us!"

Thank You for Showing Up for Schools
Our first Month of Impact started with one teacher's lounge in Roswell. It grew into 70 schools, 17 participating clients, 13 brand partners, and a team that poured their hearts into every stop.
To every educator, front office hero, and partner who made year one so special: thank you. You're the reason we love this work. We can't wait to see where our next Month of Impact takes us as we continue to #ShowUpForSchools.
