Ten weeks, ten Friday nights, and stadiums full of Georgia pride.
The regular season of the 2026 Georgia High School Countdown to Kickoff is in the books, and the biggest games of the year are still ahead!
Score Atlanta and Campus Multimedia brought the statewide pregame tour back for a second season this fall, and the show is following the action all the way through the GHSA playoffs.
A Look Back at the Regular Season
Year two kicked off August 28 with Sandy Creek at Douglas County and brought a primetime broadcast experience to a new school community every Friday through the end of October, capped by Dunwoody and Decatur in the Hall of Fame Game.
Each stop delivered the full game day setup: broadcast talent, a media desk, a fan activation zone, and live pregame, in-game, and postgame coverage. Every game aired statewide, produced by Peachtree Sports Network on the Atlanta News First News Network, giving each school’s players, bands, cheer squads, and student sections a regional audience that reached far beyond the stadium.

Fan Favorites from The Brand Partners
Game day in Georgia runs on community, and this season’s brand partners showed up for it every Friday night.
Dunkin’ brought the energy before kickoff with the Dunkin’ Cruiser. Students, families, and alumni lined up for free Refreshers and game day swag, and some fans headed home with free Dunkin’ coupons. The Cruiser quickly became a gathering spot, giving the crowd one more way to get loud for their team before the first snap.
Taco Mac made sure the celebration started the moment fans walked in. Coupons handed out at the gate gave families an easy plan for after the game, whether they were toasting a big win or regrouping for next week. For a lot of Georgia communities, the Friday night tradition doesn’t end at the final whistle, and Taco Mac helped keep it going.
Both partners helped turn each broadcast into a full community event while supporting the schools, students, and families who make high school football such a big part of life across Georgia.
Now Comes the Run for the Title
The road to the GHSA state championship starts this Friday, November 6, with the Countdown to Kickoff Bracket Show, breaking down the field and the matchups to watch. From there, the show continues with four weeks of playoff coverage on Peachtree Sports Network and the Atlanta News First News Network as Georgia’s best teams chase a state title.
